John Cockerill India Limited, formerly known as CMI FPE Limited, was established as a Public Limited Company in May 1986. The company’s main activities include customised design, engineering, manufacturing, and installation of components of Cold Rolling Mill Complexes, Galvanising Lines, Colour Coating Lines, Tension Levelling Lines, Skin Pass Mills, Acid Regeneration Plants, Wet Flux Lines, and Pickling Lines for ferrous and non-ferrous industries globally. In June 2020, the company changed its name to John Cockerill India Limited.

Manufacturing Facilities

John Cockerill India Limited has two manufacturing facilities in Maharashtra, one in Taloja and the other in Hedavali. The Taloja plant is a “Centre of Excellence for Cold Rolling Mills” and completed its modernization and expansion plan in 2013. The company acquired a new plant site at Hedavali, near Khopoli, in Maharashtra in 2012.
